How the work gets done
The assistant prepares. A person signs. The ledger remembers.
Nothing posts on its own. Every entry arrives with its evidence and its reasoning, waits for a named person, and lands in a log that only grows.
01
Ingest
Bank lines, bills, invoices and payouts come in with their documents attached.
02
Propose
Eternify Assistant drafts the entry, the tax treatment and the reasoning, and puts it in the queue.
03
Approve
A named person accepts, edits or declines. Material entries always wait for one.
04
Post
The entry posts, the return already reflects it, and the record cannot be edited or deleted.
What the queue looks like
Two colours, and they mean one thing each. Amber is a proposal waiting for a person. Green is an entry a named person has signed. Nothing else on a screen is tinted, so a reviewer can read the state of the books from across the room.
An approval carries the approver's name and stays on the record. Reversals are new entries; nothing is edited in place and nothing is deleted.

Built on CRA rules
Canadian tax is the foundation, not a setting.
Most systems treat Canada as a currency dropdown. This one starts from the rules a Canadian preparer works under, and the books follow.
ON 13% · QC 14.975% · BC 12%
GST, HST, QST and PST by place of supply
Every line carries its tax treatment from where the supply is made, not from a default. Input tax credits are tracked as they arise.
GIFI 1000 · 2620 · 3620 · 8000
GIFI on every account
The chart of accounts is mapped to the General Index of Financial Information as it is built, so year-end is an export rather than a re-mapping.
Line 101 · 103 · 106 · 109
Returns that tie to the ledger
The GST/HST return is generated from posted entries and reconciles to them to the dollar, ready for the preparer to file.
Matched 1:1 · 0 unexplained
Reconciliation from day one
Bank and card lines are matched to entries continuously, and anything unmatched is a row a person can see, not a surprise at month-end.

Five seats. Free while we build, free for three years after launch.
Design partners run it beside the system they already have, on their real books, with the founding team on call. Founding pricing is locked in writing after that, and nothing has to be switched.
Questions
The questions a controller asks first.
Can the assistant post an entry on its own?
No. It drafts a proposal with the evidence and the reasoning attached, and a named person accepts, edits or declines it before anything posts. There is no unattended mode.
Do I have to leave QuickBooks or Sage 50 to try it?
No. During the design-partner program it runs beside your existing system on the same transactions and never writes back. Your current file stays the book of record until you decide otherwise.
Where is my data?
In Canada, in Google Cloud's Toronto region, backups included, from the first deployment. The company is Canadian-owned and the agreement is governed by Ontario law.
Are you SOC 2 certified?
No. The controls are built in from the start and the trust page lists them, but we hold no report and have not engaged an auditor. We will say so here the day that changes.
What can I see before signing an NDA?
This page. Design partners see everything, first, as it is built. If you want a closer look, apply for a seat and we will sign a mutual NDA before any books are shared.
